This kit is intended for people with smaller sized heads or people who would like a tighter fit of the helmet and oral nasal mask. It is a simple foam spacer that is placed into a standard head cushion. The spacer helps properly position the top and back of the head in the helmet by using a larger foam piece in the lower neck area which helps push the head forward and into the oral nasal mask.
A properly fitting diving helmet or mask is key to both comfort and safety. We encourage everyone to review the operations section of their Kirby Morgan manual to insure that the helmet or mask has been adjusted and fitted to the individual (neck dam, head cushion, neck pad, etc.).
This kit is used with KMDSI head cushion part numbers 510-682 and 510-521.
